RETURNS POLICY

We offer a 30 Days Return Policy. This means any item/items bought from us can be returned within 30 Days of purchase.

Please note that returned item/items must be unworn, still have all packaging, protective plastic & tags attached and returned as new.

• Orders can be returned within 30 days from the date you receive your order. If you are outside of the 30-day return policy.
• We believe that you will be delighted with your product but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. We aim to keep the process as simple as possible. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
• For reasons of hygiene, we are unable to accept returns of any items, which have been used or worn, unless faulty.
• Our promise to replace the item or refund your money does not apply to faults or damages caused by accident, neglect, or misuse.
• The buyer is responsible for the cost of the return postage and any taxes or additional fees for returning the product. For UK returns, we strongly recommend sending items back either using ‘Royal Mail’ Special Delivery’ using the correct insured service, or similar courier service with adequate insurance so that you are covered for any loss. Watchmax are not liable for the item if it gets lost on route back to us.
• When a refund is made to a credit or debit card or via PayPal it may not show up in your account straight away, as the clearing banks take time to process the refund. Typically, this can take up to 7 working days but varies depending on your own bank. If you would like further clarification on the timescales involved, please contact your card issuer.
• Every piece of jewellery is examined by a team of specialists before being dispatched
• In-store, purchases are Non-refundable but do carry a 14-day exchange policy.

In the UK is is Illegal to Sell or descibe any item as Gold, Silver, Platinum or Palladium unless it is Hallmarked.

A hallmark is an official mark or series of marks struck on items made of metal, mostly to certify the content of noble metals such as platinum, gold, silver, and palladium. All products from Watchmax carry the British Hallmark.

Our Commitment to Hallmarking

When it comes to manufacturing jewellery and silverware, precious metals (silver, palladium, gold and platinum) are rarely used in their purest form. Instead, they are usually alloyed with lesser metals to achieve a desired strength, durability, and colour.

It is not possible to detect the precious metal content of an item by sight or by touch. It is, therefore, a legal requirement to have items consisting of silver, palladium, gold or platinum independently tested and then hallmarked before they can be described as such. Items must bear a hallmark at point of sale, subject to the following weight exemptions:

Silver: mandatory for items above 7.78 grams; gold: mandatory for items above 1 gram; palladium: mandatory for items above 1 gram; platinum: mandatory for items above 0.5 grams.

Watchmax Limited is registered with the The Edinburgh Assay Office, ensuring our precious metal jewellery is compliant with the UK’s hallmarking regulations. All stock is subject to an internal confirmation process to ensure it meets the UK’s hallmarking regulations before it is dispatched to our customers.

For articles that are below the UK hallmarking Act’s mandatory weight for hallmarking Watchmax Limited operates a separate due diligence process which involves periodic voluntary testing of items that fall below the mandatory weight to ensure they meet the minimum fineness requirement.

Assay Assured is owned and administered by the Edinburgh Assay Office. The Edinburgh Assay Office was established by Royal Charter and our primary role has always been to guarantee the purity of precious metals. Today our work centres on providing hallmarks for compliance with the 1973 Hallmarking Act.
